A lot of volunteers and food donations are needed to make this event a successful one.  There are still many job slots and food items that need to be filled.  Please visit the following two sites to find one that you can help out with.  This is a fun and exciting day and a great way to meet other band parents.

The Wakefield High School Marching Band, under the direction of Tom Bankert, and the Wakefield Music Boosters invite you to join us for another fun-filled afternoon of music.  The Boosters take great pride in sponsoring this event and give special thanks to the corporate sponsors who helped support this event and the music programs through the Wakefield Public School System, Grades K-12.

Come and enjoy the music and our world famous concession stand.  Participate in the raffles, too.

Wakefield Side Story

Directions:

Rte. 128 (95) N or S to exit 39 - North Ave.  At ramp end, turn right if traveling northbound, turn left if traveling southbound.  Proceed one mile onto North Ave. to the traffic light at the intersection of Church St.  Continue on North Ave. going 7/10's of a mile - through traffic lights at train depot and proceed to a traffic light at the intersection of Main St. and North Ave.  Continue straight across intersection (cross over Main St) and at this time North Ave. ends and Nahant St. begins.  Follow for approximately 9/10's of a mile - Wakefield High will be in front of you.  Take a right and 1st left which is Hemlock Rd. which leads to Landrigan Field.
