About the Wakefield Music Boosters
Wakefield Music Boosters is a group of volunteers who support the performing arts at all grade levels through financial and hands-on activities. We maintain uniform inventories, transport musical equipment for performances and competitions, chaperone trips, manage concert ticket sales, and keep the public aware of what our young performers are doing through this website, the local newspaper, and social media. We have a budget that supports the music and drama programs at all schools, including subsidizing private music lessons, paying for bus transportation for all elementary students to attend Visual & Performing Arts Day, and offering scholarships to graduating seniors applying to college.
